A clear technical answer before you spend the money.
Sometimes you do not need another team to build. You need someone to look, tell you the truth in plain language, and write down a plan your own people can follow.
What consulting looks like with us.
You have a system that is slow, a vendor quote you cannot evaluate, a project that stalled, or a team that needs direction. We read the code, look at the servers, talk to the people, and write a short report: what is actually wrong, what it will cost to fix, what to do first. No slide decks, no jargon, no pressure to hire us for the build.
- You are about to sign a large quote and want an independent opinion.
- A system is slow, failing or stuck and nobody can say why.
- Your in-house team needs an architecture and a plan, not more hands.
- You are choosing a stack or a vendor and want reasons, not fashion.
Risk goes down as findings are addressed in order. The dashed line is the plan; the solid line is what actually happens when the team follows it. The report is the artifact that outlives the engagement.
What is included in consulting
Architecture review
Code, data model, infrastructure and process read end to end. A written list of findings ranked by risk and cost.
System rescue
Stabilise first: backups, monitoring, the worst failures. Then a plan to repair or replace, step by step, without a big-bang rewrite.
Stack and vendor choice
Options compared on your constraints: team, budget, hosting, data residency, hiring market in Lebanon and abroad.
Team enablement
Repository setup, review practice, deployment pipeline and a few weeks of pairing so your team ships without us.
How we run an engagement
Evidence, then opinion. Everything written down.
- Read-only access first
- We start with read access to code, logs, databases and hosting. Nothing changes until the report is agreed.
- Measurements
- Real numbers: response times, error rates, database load, build times, cost per month. Claims in the report link to the measurement.
- Risk-ranked findings
- Each finding has a severity, an estimated effort, and a recommended order. You can stop after the top three and still be better off.
- Plain-language report
- One document, written for the owner and the engineers at the same time. A one-page summary on top, detail below.
- Optional follow-through
- We can execute the plan, pair with your team, or step back. The report is the same either way.
From a question to a plan
- Phase 1
Scope
One call to define the question and the access needed. A fixed price for the review.
- Phase 2
Review
One to three weeks of reading, measuring and interviews, depending on size.
- Phase 3
Report
Findings, plan and costs delivered in writing and walked through in a meeting.
- Phase 4
Follow through
Your team executes, we execute, or we pair. Checkpoints agreed up front.
Questions people ask
- Will you recommend rebuilding everything?
- Rarely. Most systems can be repaired in place. A rewrite is recommended only when the report shows it is cheaper than repair.
- Do we have to hire you for the fix?
- No. The report is written so your own team or another vendor can follow it. Many clients do exactly that.
- How is it priced?
- A fixed price for the review based on scope, agreed before we start. Follow-up work is quoted separately.
